Automotive starter batteries brand ATLAS is owned by AtlasBX Co. Ltd., company established in Korea in 1944 as Isan. Ltd. In 1952 the company was renamed to Korea Storage Battery Ltd. (KSB), and then in 2004 it acquired its present name of AtlasBX Co. Ltd.

The company developed first maintenance-free battery in Korea in 1982.

Nowadays AtlasBX Co. Ltd. is a leading Korean starter batteries manufacturer.

Company now known as Robert Bosch GmbH. was founded by Robert Bosch in Stuttgart in 1886. The first starter battery under the BOSCH brand was produced in Germany in 1927. Today Robert Bosch GmbH. is a world leader in automotive parts and systems manufacturing.
